# ESTHEMAX Dental Clinic & Lab

> Dental clinic with an in-house dental laboratory in Yerevan, Armenia, co-founded by Dr. Arsen Gevorgyan. Veneers:
- Veneers are made within 1 to 3 days after the consultation, depending on the number of veneers, the patient's oral health and the clinical indications (confirmed with the dentist); the traditional method can take 7 to 15 days
- No traditional impressions: an intraoral scanner captures a high-precision digital image of the teeth
- The smile is planned digitally (shape, size and shade), and the veneers are made with 3D technology
- Types: E-max Press, refractory and ultra-thin veneers; preparation is limited to the enamel
- Veneers correct the colour, shape and size of teeth, some asymmetries and gaps between teeth
- Price: 66,000 to 121,000 AMD per tooth (ceramic veneer); every price on the site is in Armenian dram (AMD)

Implants:
- Implants are placed by Dr. Arsen Gevorgyan, a general dentist and implantologist and the clinic's co-founder, under local anaesthesia
- Treatment is planned from a CT scan of the jaws (done outside the clinic) and a 3D scan; a 3D-printed surgical guide is made only where it is needed, and is charged separately
- Crowns go on 1.5 to 3 months after placement in the lower jaw and 4 to 6 months in the upper; after a sinus lift, 4 to 6 months, depending on the volume of bone added
- A temporary tooth is fitted when the implant site and the bone allow immediate loading
- Implant systems: Straumann (Switzerland), Biotech (France) and CWM Inno (Korea)
- Sinus lifting (open and closed, with Versah burs), ridge splitting, socket bone augmentation and soft-tissue grafting
- Full-arch restoration on implants: fixed bridges on 4 or 6 implants, and bar-retained removable dentures

Patients from Cyprus:
- Nonstop flights from Larnaca to Yerevan every day (Wizz Air, FlyOne Armenia) and from Paphos several times a week; the flight takes about two hours
- No visa for citizens of Cyprus, the other EU countries and the United Kingdom (up to 180 days a year), or of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
- Patients from abroad stay in Armenia for 3 to 7 days, depending on the treatment
- Before travelling, patients send photographs of their teeth and an X-ray (a panoramic OPG or a CBCT scan), and the visit is planned in advance
- Implant treatment takes 2 to 3 trips to Armenia, depending on the clinical case; the length of the stay is discussed with each patient
- The clinic arranges the airport pickup on arrival and the drop-off on departure
- Payment is cashless only

Patients from Russia and the CIS:
- Nonstop flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo) several times a day, about 3.5 hours; also from St Petersburg, Sochi, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and other Russian cities, from Minsk, and once or twice a week from Almaty, Astana, Aktau and Tashkent
- No visa for citizens of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan (up to 180 days a year), Kazakhstan (up to 90 days) and Tajikistan (90 days within 180); citizens of Turkmenistan need a visa
- Russian citizens can fly in on the internal or the foreign-travel passport; children need a foreign-travel passport; citizens of Kazakhstan may also use their ID card
- Yerevan is one hour ahead of Moscow and Minsk

Patients from Europe and the UK:
- Nonstop flights from about twenty European cities, among them Paris, Vienna, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Warsaw, Athens, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam and London (Luton); 2.5 to 5 hours
- No visa for citizens of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (up to 180 days a year); a passport is needed, not an ID card
- Until 1 July 2027, nationals of 111 listed countries holding an EU or Schengen residence permit valid for at least six more months need no visa
- The EHIC and the UK's GHIC do not cover planned treatment in Armenia

Patients from the USA and Canada:
- No nonstop flight from North America; one connection, usually in Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna, Warsaw, Athens or Doha; the fastest trips take about 17 hours from New York or Toronto and about 19 from Los Angeles
- No visa for US citizens (up to 180 days a year); Canadian citizens need a visa (e-visa at https://evisa.mfa.am/, or at the border)
- Until 1 July 2027, nationals of 111 listed countries holding a US green card valid for at least six more months need no visa

Patients from the UAE and Qatar:
- Nonstop flights every day from Dubai (flydubai), Abu Dhabi (Etihad) and Doha (Qatar Airways), about 3 to 3.5 hours; Yerevan is on Dubai's time
- No visa for citizens of the UAE and Qatar (up to 180 days a year); until 1 July 2027, nationals of 111 listed countries holding a UAE or Qatar residence permit valid for at least six more months need no visa either
