01 — Getting here
One connection from North America
There is no nonstop flight from North America, but one connection in Europe or the Gulf brings you to Yerevan. With a US passport you need no visa, and we meet you at the airport.
Flights
One stop
Air France via Paris, Lufthansa via Frankfurt, Austrian Airlines via Vienna, LOT via Warsaw, Aegean via Athens and Qatar Airways via Doha all connect to Yerevan.
Arrival
Often at night
Most connecting flights from Europe and Doha land in Yerevan between midnight and 6 am, so book your first night’s stay from the night you land.
Time
8–12 hours ahead
Yerevan is eight hours ahead of New York, Boston, Toronto and Montreal in summer and nine in winter, and eleven hours ahead of Los Angeles in summer and twelve in winter.
Entry
US: no visa. Canada: e-visa
US citizens need no visa and can stay up to 180 days a year. Canadian citizens need a visa: apply for an e-visa before you travel (it takes up to three working days), or get one at the border.
Green card
Living in the US?
Until 1 July 2027, nationals of 111 countries who hold a US green card valid for at least six more months need no visa; a Canadian permanent resident card does not count. Check the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s rules.

02 — Veneers
Veneers in one trip
Veneers are ready within 1–3 days after the consultation. The exact timing depends on how many veneers you need, your oral health and the clinical indications, and is confirmed with the dentist.
Photographs and X-ray
Before you travel, send us photographs of your teeth and an X-ray (a panoramic OPG or a CBCT scan) on WhatsApp, and we will plan your visit in advance.
Consultation
Free. An intraoral scanner captures a digital image of your teeth, and at the end of the consultation we draw up your treatment plan and give you a cost estimate.
Made on site
The veneers are made in our own laboratory, on the same floor as the chair, within 1–3 days after the consultation.
Placement
The veneers are then placed. Patients from abroad stay in Armenia for 3–7 days, depending on the treatment.

04 — Implants
Implants: the timeline
Depending on the clinical case, implant treatment takes 2–3 trips to Armenia, and the length of your stay is discussed with you individually. The implants are placed under local anaesthesia, and the crowns go on later: how much later depends on the jaw.

Lower jaw
1.5–3 months
Crowns go on 1.5–3 months after the implant is placed.
Upper jaw
4–6 months
Crowns go on 4–6 months after the implant is placed.
A temporary tooth is fitted when the implant site and the bone allow immediate loading.

Questions from the USA and Canada
What patients travelling from the USA and Canada want to know before they book.

No. There is no nonstop flight between North America and Yerevan, so you change planes once, usually in Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna, Warsaw, Athens or Doha. The fastest trips take about 17 hours from New York or Toronto and about 19 from Los Angeles.
It depends on your plan. Some US dental plans reimburse care received abroad and others don’t, Medicare does not cover care outside the US, and Canada’s public dental care plan does not cover treatment outside Canada. Ask your insurer before you travel.
