Dental implants in Yerevan
Missing teeth replaced with dental implants at ESTHEMAX in Yerevan. Treatment is planned from a CT scan of the jaws and a 3D scan, and the implants are placed by Dr. Arsen Gevorgyan, the clinic's co-founder, a general dentist and implantologist.

01 — The process
How implant treatment works
Before treatment you are examined thoroughly: the necessary tests, a CT scan of the jaws, a 3D scan and diagnosis. From these the implant's position, size and angle are planned, and it is decided whether bone needs to be added.
Consultation
Your teeth and bone are assessed and the treatment options explained. The consultation is free; at the end of it we draw up your treatment plan and give you a cost estimate.
Planning
A CT scan of the jaws, done outside the clinic, and a 3D scan. A 3D-printed surgical guide, which helps place the implant in the planned position, is made only where it is needed, and is charged separately.
Placement
The implant is placed under local anaesthesia. A healing abutment is attached to it, around which the gum takes shape.
Healing
The implant fuses with the bone. A temporary tooth is fitted when the implant site and the bone allow immediate loading.
Abutment and crown
An abutment is attached to the implant, and on it a zirconia or metal-ceramic crown, made from a digital scan in the clinic's own laboratory.
Follow-up
Regular check-ups.
Lower jaw
1.5–3 months
Crowns go on 1.5–3 months after the implant is placed.
Upper jaw
4–6 months
Crowns go on 4–6 months after the implant is placed.
Depending on the clinical case, patients from abroad come to Armenia 2–3 times, and the length of the stay is discussed with each patient individually.
02 — Bone and gum
Sinus lift and bone grafting
If there is not enough bone height under the sinus in the upper jaw, the sinus floor is lifted and bone graft material is added so that an implant can be placed. Whether it is needed follows the bone at the implant site: the height and width of the alveolar ridge.
Sinus lift
Dr. Gevorgyan specialises in sinus lifting in the upper jaw, by both the open and the closed (minimally invasive) technique, with Versah burs. In some clinical cases the implant can be placed at the same visit. The crown goes on 4–6 months after a sinus lift, depending on the volume of bone added.
Bone graft material
An allograft or a xenograft.
Ridge splitting and socket augmentation
Also used where bone is lacking.
Soft-tissue grafting
Around implants, and around restorations already fitted on implants, for a healthy, natural-looking gum line.

Full-arch restoration on implants
When a jaw has no teeth or almost none, the arch can be restored on implants. The clinic makes both fixed bridges on 4 or 6 implants and bar-retained removable dentures.
On 2 implants
A removable denture on locators.

A removable denture on a bar, or a fixed bridge.
On 6 implants
A fixed bridge, a PEEK framework or a titanium bar.

Questions about implants
What patients ask most often before implant treatment.
It depends on your bone and the plan: placement, a healing period while the implant fuses with the bone, then the abutment and crown. Crowns go on 1.5–3 months after placement in the lower jaw and 4–6 months in the upper. After a sinus lift, the crown goes on 4–6 months later, depending on the volume of bone added.
Depending on the clinical case, you come to Armenia 2–3 times, and the length of your stay is discussed with you individually. Before you travel, send us photographs of your teeth and an X-ray (a panoramic OPG or a CBCT scan) on WhatsApp, and we will plan your visits in advance.

Too little bone is not always an obstacle. Depending on the case, a sinus lift, ridge splitting or bone augmentation may be done. Which option suits you is decided from the CT scan.
